Defining a collection
The challenge was to create part of a collection that felt genuinely connected to André-Pierre Gignac while remaining consistent with Charly’s brand identity and performance standards. The product needed to translate the personality and image of a professional athlete into functional training apparel that could resonate with consumers beyond the collaboration itself.

Design strategy
Each product was designed and planned according to the MOQ required for production. Since this was a personalized collection with an uncertain sales forecast, careful decisions had to be made in order to minimize the risk of excess inventory.
My work included product design, technical specifications, prototype reviews and change control throughout the development process. Each product was reviewed and approved by André-Pierre Gignac before being released for manufacturing in China and later commercialized by Charly.
The final collection combined performance-focused apparel with design elements that reflected the player’s identity and created a closer connection between the athlete and the brand.
